All good things must come to an end, and what an end it is. We’re closing out our Hill Climb season in epic style with the legendary Darley Abbey Double Header — because one climb was never going to be enough for a season finale, was it? 😏
🏔️ Not One Climb. TWO Climbs.
That’s right — you’re getting double the suffering, double the glory and double the bragging rights. Here’s how the evening unfolds:
Climb One — Potato Pit Lane 🥔
Meet at the Carpenter’s Arms for sign-on, then it’s down to the corner and up Potato Pit Lane, past the Cowshed and beyond. Get your legs warmed up — you’re going to need them.
Climb Two — No Man’s Lane ⚔️
Barely time to catch your breath before it’s over the hill and up the other side via No Man’s Lane. Two hills. One evening. Absolute carnage. We love it.
🍺 End of Season Celebrations
Once both climbs are conquered, it’s back to the Carpenter’s Arms for results, end-of-season socialising, and the kind of well-deserved refreshments that only a double header can justify. 🏆 It’s been an incredible season — let’s send it off in style!
